The Lilywhites ended a tough week on a high with a 2-0 win at home.

This was their first match since the departure of their first-team manager, Gareth Thomas, following the defeat at Porthmadog last weekend.

Andy Wilmot took charge of the team for the Ardal North West Division match against Llangefni Town at Belle Vue.

He led a team missing three key players—Ollie Staveley (injured), and James and Alex Jones (both away).

The Lilywhites started strong, with Dylan Proctor making a cross from the left-hand side in the 10th minute.

This found the head of Jason Foulkes, whose attempt was saved by Llangefni Town's keeper, Gethin Hughes.

Just a minute later, Proctor fired home the first goal after a pass from Reece Fairhurst.

The score remained 1-0 at the break.

Goalkeeper Adam Reid made a crucial save in the 30th minute, preventing Llangefni Town from scoring an equaliser.

The second half started as a balanced contest, with both sides matching each other in the early stages.

The match remained competitive until the 81st minute, when Proctor secured his second goal of the game with a shot from the edge of the box, finding the bottom right corner.

The final scoreline was 2-0 to the Lilywhites, much to the delight of the home crowd at Belle Vue.

After the match, Wilmot said: "We haven’t quite got the rewards for our efforts over the last couple of weeks, we work hard all week and have good standards.

"It’s all down to the players, the hard work and determination they put in."

The Lilywhites' line-up for the match included Adam Reid, Calum Proctor, Tom Kemp, Reece Fairhurst (C), Casey Faulkner, James Hay, Sam Ashton, Jason Foulkes, James Stevens, Jonny Bravo, and Dylan Proctor.
