After a sluggish start to the season, Prestatyn Town FC bounced back, thrashing Llay Welfare in a 6-2 victory.
The Wrexham side, still chasing their first win of the Cymru North campaign, found themselves 4-0 down to the Seasiders within a mere 15 minutes.
Prestatyn's early heavy lead was delivered by an Oliver Buckley double, Tom Weir, and Dave Haynes, while the visitors managed to claw back two through Bisensio Kamilo and Scott Swords.
Prestatyn's Tyler Joyce and Ray Knight went on to score the fith and sixth goals ensuring a successful afternoon for the home side.
Despite a commanding victory, Prestatyn manager Chris Morrell urged cautious optimism.
Mr Morrell said: "So while it was certainly good to get something positive going, we are under no illusions that we need to get better moving forward."

He praised the initial bombardment but cautioned against complacency.
He said: "The first 20 minutes I thought we played some really good stuff and, for once, everything we hit went in.
"But make no mistake, Llay really are a good side and threw caution to the wind a bit to put us on the back foot for large parts of the game."
Mr Morrell also said: "It's was good to see new lads Jacob and Ray have an impact while the returning-Tom Weir and Oli Buckley were also a constant threat.
"Getting wins is obviously always good but, there is so much to work on as we try to get better every session and we must also improve things off the pitch which I've no doubts will just help the players focus on their own roles.
"Thanks to the supporters too for helping the players through and we'll need you in good and bad moments all season long ahead."
