Four Denbighshire bowling clubs were triumphant in the Clwyd Bowling League Cup Finals, held earlier this month.

In the Division A Cup Final, St Asaph A beat Highbury A 7-4 at Bryn Newydd.

Jason Jones and Jack Dougal delivered standout performances, each achieving 21/5 wins for The Citizens, securing a comfortable victory despite Mel Higham's 21/7 efforts.

Rhuddlan saw Sunny Rhyl A win the Division B Cup against Mochdre Park.

The club's top players, Steve Harris and Garth Evans, contributed to the victory with their respective 21/6 and 21/9 triumphs.

The Division C Cup Final witnessed club rivalry from East Parade with the B team overcoming the A team 7-4 at Dyserth.

Jean Withe and Ged Ironmonger of the B team scored 21/5 victories, outshining the A team's Jim Lester and Tom Williams despite their impressive scores.

In the closely fought Division D final in St Asaph, Grove Park B narrowly edged out Grove Park A 6-5.

Solid team performance managed to overcome Dave Cawley and Dean Burrow's wins for the A team.
