ABERGELE Harriers’ Gareth Evans took on the daunting task of the Snowdon Twilight Uphill race on Friday night (June 28).
The race, which starts in Llanberis and finishes at the summit of Yr Wyddfa, involves a climb of more than 3,000 feet in total.
Gareth finished in 42nd position in a time of 1:09:28, making him sixth in his age group.
The only other Harrier in action this weekend was Anthony Howe, who took on the challenging Greenfield parkrun, finishing 64th in 36:06.
