FOUR Vale of Clwyd cricketers will be testing themselves against English opposition later this month.
North Wales, now known as Wales National County (North), will begin a busy season away to Cumbria on May 17.
This match, which will be the first of nine this year for the region, is scheduled to be played in Kendal and it will be a 50-over contest.
Captaining the North Wales side will be St Asaph's Will Ryan.
St Asaph clubmates Duncan Midgley and Jason Foulkes will join him in the team.

There's also a spot for talented Denbigh player Harrison Jones, who experienced joy and despair over the weekend.
He struck an amazing 203 at Dolgellau, before being dismissed for a golden duck during Denbigh's win over Abergele two days later.
