RHYL and District Rugby Club's youth team welcomed Colwyn Bay Youth to a cold Tynewydd Field for their final game of 2021.
The teams were evenly matched in the first half with Rhyl taking the lead with a converted try, but Colwyn Bay fought back to lead 12-7 at the break.
Rhyl took command in the second half running in four more tries, with a solitary try from Colwyn bay resulting in the win for Rhyl at 29-17.
Rhyl's try scorers were Paddy Nelson (2), Mathew Ousey, Gethin Williams and Adam Walkowycz.
Tom Jones added two conversions.
Rhyl conceded too many penalties and finished with 13 players on the field. The team has shown vast improvement and they'll be back in action again on January 8.
