THE owner of a clothing store in Rhyl wants to change the shop into a takeaway.
An application has been lodged with Denbighshire County Council for a change of use at 20 Wellington Road.
Mr A Phillips, of Gors Road, Towyn is the listed applicant, and hopes to use the site occupied by “Vain Menswear” to turn it into a takeaway called "Ronnie's".

The change of use is for the ground floor of the 86 square metre site, with flats on the floors above being used as storage and admin/filing spice at present.
In the application, submitted to the council on March 31, it is stated that the traditional stylish frontage shall remain the same, with a name change to take place on the same back mount.
If successful, the application says the takeaway will employ one full-time member of staff and two part-time employees.
A decision on the application is due from the council’s planning department by May 25.
