CPD Y Rhyl 1879 remain on course for a second successive promotion with just four games to go after a 2-1 win at Llangefni Town on Saturday (March 25).
On 17 minutes, Rhyl took the lead, after being awarded a free kick out on the right.
James Stead took it and delivered the ball into the box, and though nobody got on the end of it, the ball found its way to Aaron White.
He floated the ball back into the box, where unselfishly, Reece Fairhurst headed it across goal directly to Jack Higgins to nod in from two yards out.
With seconds remaining of the first half, Rhyl doubled their lead, with Stead heavily involved once again.

He sent in a corner in from the right with White the target, and he was able to get perfect contact on it to deliver a bullet header that goalkeeper Steve Sinclair had no chance of keeping out.
But not long into the second half, Llangefni halved Rhyl’s lead, after Gari Owen broke free down the right flank.
He sent in a great cross to Alun Roberts, who was able to rise above the defence and head low to Luke Wilmot’s left, the third headed goal of the game.

Seeing the opportunity to cause another huge upset following their victory against Bangor a few weeks earlier, Town were baying for blood, but found it hard to break through the Rhyl midfield.
They would get their best opportunity on the hour following mounting pressure, but Jack Smith would see his effort from close range cleared of the line by the imperious Fairhurst.
The last third of the game was a war of attrition, with both sides struggling to break the lines.
With the chasing teams all winning, the three points proved huge for Rhyl in their push for the Ardal North West title, and with just four games to go, it remains in their hands.
Next up for the Lilywhites will be a trip to Gwynedd side Nantlle Vale next Saturday (April 1).
Following the Vale match, Rhyl will be playing their rearranged fixture with Bangor 1876 at Nantporth Stadium on April 8.
