CPD Y Rhyl 1879 moved top of the Ardal North West league after a 5-1 win against Llandudno Albion, in what was classed as an away match despite being at their home ground of Belle Vue.
The game moved due to the ongoing pitch issues Albion face at its home ground, the OPS Wind Arena.
The pitch at the ground has hosted just one game since September after an inspection from UEFA deemed part of the pitch a health and safety risk.

Llandudno Albion home game switched to Rhyl opponents’ ground
This has since forced Llandudno Albion FC and Llandudno FC to play all of their matches away from home.
Jack Higgins would break the dead lock with 20 minutes played; a fine finish from close range after Tom Kemp put in a delightful ball.
With half an hour on the clock, the entire ground was left speechless as Rhyl forward Kieran Ellis scored a magnificent goal from about 40 yards.
Picking up the loose ball, he took a touch, and with thunderous power, sent the ball across goal from the left into the top right corner, leaving the entire ground stunned.
Ellis would get his second and 1879’s third of the game just before half-time; having won a corner on the right, Jack Davies sent a ball in that landed at his feet at the far post, before he fired the ball in.
Young Albion midfielder Lee Stokes was involved when Llandudno got on the scoresheet, starting the move that saw Joseph Carey lift the ball over Luke Wilmot in the 1879 goal.
But it was Lilywhites forward Ellis’ day, as he would secure his hat-Trick with fewer than 20 minutes left.
He capitalising on a great bit of skill by Macauley Taylor through the middle, who pulled the ball back to Ellis, and when his route on goal was blocked, Ellis took the ball first time and finished with aplomb.
Ellis would again be in the thick of it seconds after the restart - through on goal, he entered the penalty box, rounded the oncoming Albion goalkeeper, only to be brought down.
Jack Higgins would step up and score the resulting penalty to crown a five-star performance from Rhyl.
Next up for 1879 will be the trip to Rhostyllen, with kick-off at 2pm on Saturday (February 4).
