THE weather gods once again did their best to make conditions as miserable as possible for competitors in Saturday (July 20)’s Castle Howell Snowdon International Race.

But that did not deter six of Prestatyn Running Club’s mountain-loving ladies.

Last year’s race was curtailed because of the weather and although conditions at the start of Saturday’s event were almost perfect the fine rain soon became a downpour and the wind also strengthened.
