MORE representative honours have come for Prestatyn Running Club, with six members included in the North Wales squad for the Welsh inter-regional cross-country championships in Monmouth on November 19.
Sophie Johnson, who has been consistent on road and country in the past year, is rewarded by being named in the L40 team.
Club captain Lisa Lines, also in good form recently, is in the senior ladies’ squad, and the third lady selected is ex-captain Helen Ashworth (L35).
Helen’s partner Steve Skates is joined in the M40 team by Tom Carter, and the third man named is Martin Cortvriend, who is in the M65 side.
During the weekend, Andy Scott crossed the border for the Chester Zoo 10k and was happy with his time of 53.24 as he, like several other members, prepares for the Conwy half-marathon.
