A COUPLE of members of Abergele Harriers toed the line in this year’s Conwy Half Marathon yesterday (November 17).
With an unfavourable forecast, just 2,765 runners took part, but the weather held off, giving reasonable conditions.
Warren Brown, running the final half marathon of the four castles series, finished an excellent 257th in 1:35:51.
Anthony Howe fared less well, and after a promising start, faded to 2:59:34 in 2720th position.
The previous day, Anthony had warmed up for the half marathon by taking on the Pont Y Bala parkrun.
He finished in 41st place, recording a time of 51:47.
