LAST Saturday (July 20) saw the return of the International Snowdon Race, a 9.5-mile race which starts and finishes in Llanberis, heading to the top of Yr Wyddfa and back.
Gareth Evans was the only member of Abergele Harriers to take part, and he defied the unseasonably wet conditions to run an excellent 1:57:24 to finish 277th of the 466 runners.
Elsewhere for the Harriers, Anthony Howe travelled to North Yorkshire to take on the Chevin Forest Parkrun in Otley.
He finished in 35:30 for 125th position out of the 165 runners.
