LAST weekend saw Abergele Harriers’ Sean and Steven McCormack complete their sixth and final marathon in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
This was also Sean’s 100th run of at least marathon distance.
But this run was 33 miles long, and the pair completed it in six-and-a-half hours, receiving huge support on their run from Inniskeen to Kentstown in Ireland.
Meanwhile, Wednesday (June 5) saw three Harriers take on the Llanrug 5k, which also incorporated the North Wales Championships.

First home for the club in 18th position was Danny Williams in 18:17, which gave him a silver medal in his V40 age group.
Next home, Rachel Shipley was 29th overall and second lady, in 19:00 for a silver overall.
Darren Blazier was 37th in 19:33, which also gave him a silver in the V50 category.
Elsewhere, the Harriers’ Anthony Howe took part in the Pont Y Bala parkrun and was 83rd in 49:28 last weekend.
Danny Williams was again in action, this time in Prestatyn, and was fifth in 20:06.
