Danny acquitted himself well and finished in a creditable 10 hours, 13 minutes and 15 seconds, to take 67th place out of nearly 500 runners.
Also that day, Sean and Steven McCormack took part in their latest marathon for charity, this time in Inniskeen, Ireland.
Running together, they completed the distance in 4:23:20.
On the same day, Anthony Howe travelled to Manchester for the Philips Park parkrun.
Anthony finished 86th of the 119 runners in 32:03.
