YESTERDAY (August 19) saw Abergele Harriers’ Rachel Shipley take part at the North Wales 10k championships within the Caernarfon 10k as the club’s only runner.
Rachel finished in 32nd position and fourth lady overall in a time of 40:32.
This was good enough to give her a bronze medal in the championships.

Also yesterday, the Harriers’ Danny Snelson travelled to Leeds for their Running Festival Half Marathon.
Danny continued with his series of fine performances in recent weeks, to finish in 1:47:37 for 91st position on a tough course.
Meanwhile, Anthony Howe represented the club at the Kingsbury Water parkrun, finishing in 257th position in 57.57.
