MEMBERS of Abergele Harriers turned out at the North Wales championships last Wednesday (June 7), held within the Llanrug 5k near Caernarfon.
Rachel Shipley, having led the ladies’ race for much of the way, had to settle for a close second in 19.03.
Also running for the Harriers was Darren Blazier, who crossed the finish line in a time of 18.57.
Elsewhere for the club this week, Andrew Mercer ran the Conwy parkrun in 22.22 for 28th position.
Anthony Howe ran the Centre Vale parkrun in Todmorden, and completed the course in 53.43 to take home 99th position.
