A new creative hub is set to welcome residents of Rhyl to see what facilities are available and to find out what films they would like to see on the big screen.
Rhyl's Wicked Wales Studios, on Marsh Road, will open its doors to the local community on Saturday, December 7, at 11am.
The day will provide an opportunity for residents to explore the facilities and participate in discussions about what creative individuals in Rhyl need to advance their careers.
The aim is to highlight the potential of Creative Rhyl.
A 'Tea and Talk' discussion will be followed by a family screening of Despicable Me 4 in the afternoon.
The organisers are keen to understand the community's film preferences and identify any barriers hindering creative growth.
They are seeking suggestions for films that are not available in other cinemas and hope to explore obstacles faced by individuals or groups.
These could include a lack of affordable exhibition spaces, rehearsal areas, freelancer workspaces, or equipment.
The studio is eager to collaborate with the community and plan for the future.
They are particularly interested in hearing from actors, photographers, designers, producers, and musicians.
Those unable to attend the event are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas via a short survey on the Wicked Wales website.
Andrew Virgo, head of the studios, said: "The Studios are for the benefit of young people and the community, alongside a fully equipped industry standard facility available for film and television production.
"We will be a one stop shop for the creative industries."
He added: "We know there is a lot of talent in the area and we want to bring people together and connect to the industry.
"On Saturday we will have podcasts exploring the barriers to succeeding and will be interviewing on camera people who would like to share their ideas and thoughts."
The launch of Wicked Wales Studios marks a significant step towards fostering creative talent in Rhyl.
