A MALE was arrested in Rhyl last week after an incident in the centre of the town.
Police arrested the male early on Friday (November 22) in connection with a “violent altercation” on Market Street.
The arrest come while officers were conducting patrols tackling antisocial behaviour and violence in the area.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “PC Evans and PC Williams recently conducted high-visibility antisocial behaviour and violent incident patrols in the Denbighshire coastal area, conducting licensed premises checks, engaging with members of the public, and providing reassurance to the community.
“One male was arrested in Rhyl in the early hours of Friday following a violent altercation on Market Street.”
