A MAN from St Asaph has been charged with the rape of a woman in Abergele.

Ricci David Thomas, 26, has also been charged with assault by penetration in relation to the incident, which was reported to have happened near Bridge Street last Friday evening (November 22).

The alleged victim made a report to North Wales Police the following day.

Thomas appeared before Llandudno Magistrates' Court this morning (Tuesday, November 26) and has been remanded in custody.

He will next appear at Caernarfon Crown Court on January 6, 2025.
