THE central footpath through Rhyl golf course (from Robin Hood to the promenade) will be temporarily closed from early next month.

This is due to heavy machinery installing sheet piles through this area, and then the importation of stone.

Closure will begin on Friday, December 6, and will last for an estimated period of two weeks.

This work is being done to bring the footpath up to suitable gradients, complementing the surrounding work that is taking place.

During this time, pedestrians’ access the promenade from Rhyl Coast Road will be via Terfyn Pella, Brynhedydd Bay or Garford Road.

Denbighshire County Council added: We would like to thank you for your understanding and co-operation whilst this work takes place.
