A FORMER postman from Prestatyn who founded a school in Africa is hosting a Christmas Fayre.
Ron Cavie, who set up St Ronnie’s Academy in the village of Shanzu, a suburb of Mombasa in Kenya, will hold the event on December 7 at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Victoria Road in Prestatyn.
The fayre will run from 9.30am until 12pm.
Ron said: “Santa will be there as well as his elves. We will be having a cake stall, tombola, raffle, Bingo, mince pies as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
“There will also be plants and Christmas flowers from Strawberry Gardens.”
Admission is free.
The event is in aid of the church and St Ronnie’s Academy.
