A DENTAL practice in Prestatyn celebrated its first anniversary this month, as the surgery continues to expand and welcome new patients.
Central Dental Care, on Nant Hall Road, opened its doors in November 2023, and is owned and run by principle dentist Kelly Rees.
A private family dental practice, the surgery has a heavy emphasis on providing general dentistry along with medical aesthetics and implants.
Ms Rees, a former Prestatyn High School pupil, had spent the previous 20 years as an associate (non-owner) dentist at Bod Heulog Dental Practice in Rhyl.
In the year since opening, the practice has continued to expand, with an extra surgery and two “fantastic” new dentists – Jack Pilkington-Jones and Megan Ellis, who both hail from North Wales.

The staff team has doubled in size in that time, from an initial six members to 12.
Of the anniversary, Ms Rees said: “Huge thank you to all our lovely patients and my amazing staff.
“One year ago we opened our doors and have gone from a team of six to a team of 12.
“We pride ourselves in ensuring everyone has the best experience in a really caring practice.”
