A COMPANY providing a range of wedding cars has been named the best of its kind in Wales.
Go In Luxury Wedding Cars, set up by husband and wife Karen and Allan Webster 13 years ago, was the winner of the Wales-wide “best wedding transport” prize at the Welsh National Wedding Awards.
The business, which keeps its array of cars at an indoor unit in Penyffordd, has won regional awards for the last 12 years, but this was the first time it has been the winner of a national accolade.
Karen, 60, who is “Rhyl born and bred”, said she was “ecstatic” to win the award at Sunday’s (November 10) event, which was held in Swansea.

She said: “There are some big companies out there, but we go above and beyond. We’re not just a taxi service, taking a bride to her wedding. We look after everyone and our cars are immaculate.
“We love what we do. It’s all for the brides and grooms, and the guests on the day. It’s not a money-making thing; it’s about giving something back.”
Karen left a nursing career spanning almost 40 years to set this business up with Allan, 59, when her “passion for this took over”.
Those who use her business can expect the bride to be picked up, taken to the wedding, and then to the reception, in one of its 12 chauffeur-driven cars.
The business also offers a wedding photography service, as well.
Karen added: “It’s not just an ‘A to B’ service. We’ll take them miles out of their way if they want. We look after them right from the minute we pick them up.
“It’s not a ‘nine-to-five’ office-based thing, either – I’m still answering messages at 11pm!
“We don’t just open a car door and let them in; we assist them every step of the way.”
