A THIRD arrest has been made in connection with the death of 69-year-old Catherine Flynn from Rhyl.
Dean Mears, 33, of Bodelwyddan Avenue, Kinmel Bay, has been charged with murdering Ms Flynn, who died following an incident on Cefndy Road on October 24.
Last night (October 31), officers investigating her death arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
He is currently in police custody, while a 25-year-old woman, arrested last week on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been bailed.
Mears, who has been remanded in custody, has also been charged with aggravated burglary.
A plea and trial preparation hearing is due to take place on February 7, 2025.
