FATHER Christmas will be returning to Rhyl Miniature Railway at Marine Lake to hand out presents this December.
This will be the 17th year that he has come to visit the railway, with the Santa Express train running on December 7 and 8, and then every day from December 14 to 24.
The first train is at 10am, with the last at 4.30pm (but 5pm on December 16-19), so it will be dark enough to enjoy all the Christmas lights around the station and on the train.
On your visit, you will also get a picnic bag with two mince pies and two small packs of biscuits, plus drinks for the children.
Then, climb aboard the train into the compartment you have been booked into, named after Father Christmas’ reindeers, for two laps around the track nonstop.
Once back into the station, it’s into the fully transformed museum, to wait your turn to go into Father Christmas' heated grotto, where children will receive a present personally made out in their name.
A sell-out for the last four years, each ticket costs £13 for children and £5 for adults – booking via Rhyl Miniature Railway’s website is recommended.
Pets are also welcome to board the train at no extra cost, while carriages can also accommodate one wheelchair user each.
