A WOMAN from Rhyl has celebrated the publication of her new book, which saw her bring together 28 different women from a range of backgrounds to tell their stories.
Ripples of Positivity, by Lisa Williams, was made available yesterday (October 21), and offers a glimpse into the lives of women who have overcome challenges and embraced change.
Each chapter offers a powerful story, from personal stories of perseverance and self-discovery to professional achievements and community impact.
Lisa, a 38-year-old motivational speaker, podcaster and business coach, said: “I wanted this book to be a beacon of inspiration and empowerment, especially for women who feel stuck, discouraged, or overwhelmed.
“Each story is a reminder that even in the most difficult moments, we can choose positivity and make a difference - not just for ourselves, but for those around us.
“I am so grateful for everyone’s support - bringing these women together has been a joyous moment, one of which I will never forget.”
Lisa celebrated the book launch at an event at packed room at The Old Library in Birmingham on Sunday (October 20).
She has also created a Facebook community, called Vision Board Lounge, which gives women a space to create positive changes.
The mum-of-two started creating positive changes in her own life after three devastating miscarriages, which made her look at life through a new lens.
The women in her book are based across the whole of the UK, from the south coast right up to Scotland.
One of them, Anne-Marie Jones, said: “It's an absolute honour to be a part of the book collaboration with so many empowering and inspiring women.”
Another, Amy Ireland, added: “If I can help one person by sharing my story, it will be worth it. I am proud of myself, but also nervous."
