A CRASH which caused tailbacks stretching from Pensarn to Conwy on the A55 has now cleared.
The incident at around 9.30am caused significant delays. According to reports from the Inrix traffic monitoring service, one lane was blocked with queueing traffic due to an accident on A55 North Wales Expressway Westbound at J23 (Llanddulas).
The congestion stretched back to J23A (Pensarn/Abergele). Lane two (of two) was blocked.
The collision was clear within around half an hour. All lanes are now open and traffic is now moving freely in the area.
Meanwhile traffic remains slow in Rhyl on the A525 Vale Road near Rhyl Train Station between the bridge and Millbank Road.
