A TOY shop which opened in Rhyl earlier this year is to host a series of special events in the run-up to Christmas.
The Gifts Fairy, which was opened at 10 Bedford Street by mother and daughter Sammy and Samara Bowyer in May, is also offering £1 gift vouchers and loyalty cards, while it also has vacancies it is looking to fill.
Its upcoming events include:
- Create your own trick or treat tote bag - October 19, 10am-3.30pm (£4 per person)
- Make your own mug session - November 2 (£5 per person)
- Make your own T-shirt session - November 16
- Christmas craft session – November 30 (£10 per child, 15 spots available)
So far, The Gift Fairy has also given out 400 gift vouchers to Rhyl primary school Ysgol Bryn Hedydd, and another 20 to the AHAVA homeless charity shop which opened in the town earlier this year.
Samara said: “I’ve been working alongside children, opening up classes for affordable prices to get them off the streets and do something enjoyable.
“I have offered out over 500 vouchers now; I’m just trying to give back to the community.”
