A MAN has been arrested in connection with an alleged wounding incident in Rhyl.
Cheshire and North Wales Police Dogs said that one of its dogs, PD Vega, chased down the suspect.
He had initially been located via closed circuit television (CCTV).
The force said: “Following a wounding in Rhyl, the suspect was located via CCTV but didn’t want to stop when approached by PD Vega’s handler.
“He soon changed his mind when he looked back and saw 42 pearly whites promptly on his heels.”
