The Rotary Club of Rhyl has inducted its sixth female member.
The club, which was all-male until 2019, has seen a steady increase in female members since Ms Kellie Williams became the first woman to join.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the club has continued to grow and recently welcomed Christine Evans as its sixth female member.
Ms Evans, a professional tour guide, said: "It is a pleasure and a privilege to join such an active bunch of Rotarians.
"I was aware of all the charity fundraising activities for which the club is renowned in Rhyl and North Wales, but we also have tremendous fun at our fortnightly dinners together when we plan activities for the months ahead in a bid to help others both at home and abroad.
"I encourage anybody who wants to join our lively group and who wants to try to 'make a difference' to get in touch."
The inclusion of female members has had an immediate impact on the club, leading to the appointment of Helen Thomas as the club's first female president in 2023.
Tracey Phillips and Sharon Webster, also new members, have taken on senior roles within the club.
The presence of women has brought a 'much-welcomed liveliness and freshness' to the meetings, which are currently held at The Talardy Hotel, St Asaph.
The club is now regarded as a "vibrant, diverse and inclusive group of dedicated people".
This year, the Rhyl Club has supported several charities, including The Samaritans, Young Carers, Blossom and Bloom, and the local RNLI lifeboat station.
They have also assisted with the annual National Music Festival in St Asaph.
