A CHARITY shop in St Asaph has been taken on by new management, and is now trading under a different name.
One of a Kind, on High Street, is the new name for the shop previously called Random Acts of Kindness, which opened in March 2023.
Its new manager, Layla Gascoyne, has given the shop a “makeover” and helped make it “more user-friendly”.
As a result, she said, “it’s like a completely new shop”.
Layla said: “The ethos at the shop is still very much about kindness, so you can still pop in for a free hot drink and a biscuit, and dogs are completely welcome in the shop, with dog treats even on offer.
“Everything that is for sale is in lovely condition, and a number of items are brand new. Prices are very reasonable, and nothing is more than £3 each.
“The ethos of the shop is just to support people in need, and to have a good laugh or a chat with anyone who calls into the shop, and to be kind to them.
“Donations are greatly appreciated, but sadly, we can’t take books, DVDs, or CDs, as we have too many already.
“Items need to be in clean and good condition. We can’t take electrical items, as we can’t do PAT testing, and we don’t have room for furniture.”
The shop is open from 10am-3pm, Monday to Friday, and is situated next-door to Bill and Ben's DIY store.
