From 1987, they taught ballroom and sequence dancing across the country for Warner Hotels, Butlin’s, Pontins and other private companies, as well as in North Wales, also giving demonstrations.
In 1997, they started teaching line dancing with their daughter, Christine, until May 2024, during which time, under the name Silver Eagles, they donated more than £21,000 to the special baby care unit at Glan Clwyd.
They also supported the British Heart Foundation, NSPCC, St John Ambulance, Oxfam and others.
Emlyn and Dorothy said: “Many thanks to all of our dancers. We all have very happy memories of our times together.”
