A YOUNG CHILD was taken to hospital after being hit by a cyclist in Prestatyn.

The incident took place at around 5.50pm on September 17 in the Tip Lane area.

The child, hit by an electric bike, subsequently required hospital treatment

Sgt Emlyn Hughes of the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit said: “After our recent appeal, I would like to thank the rider of the bike for coming forward promptly, and I would ask people not to speculate further in this regard.

“Anyone with any other eye witness information who has not already spoken to us should get in touch as soon as possible quoting ref Q141204.”
