A WOMAN from Rhyl who opened her own salon in the town earlier this year has expanded her beauty and aesthetics business by moving it into a larger premises.

Tanya Bower, 31, relocated Luxe Beauty & Aesthetics to 183 Wellington Road in January, having previously been based at the Razorsedge hair salon on Brighton Road for the last three years.

But on Saturday (September 14), she moved her salon to 44 Wellington Road, after she “outgrew” its previous home.

She is also on the shortlist for the “businesswoman of the year” prize at the 2024 Beauty and Aesthetics Awards, the ceremony for which will be held in Manchester in mid-December.

“We moved in on Saturday – it’s not finished yet and there’s loads still to do, but it’s big enough for us to use the rooms that are done.

“It’s a really good location. I chewed their arm off when I was offered it, because of the location and the size.

“It means I can offer more treatments, like Japanese head spas and hydrofacials. We have a hairdresser now, as well.

“I’ve worked so hard for this.”

Luxe Beauty & Aesthetics, a business which Tanya has run for the last seven years, is open from Tuesday to Saturday.
