"We have to pay tribute to the Wales in Bloom committee, assessors and judges, but most of all the entrants and volunteers – ‘the Bloomers’- who make such a huge difference across the country and make Wales a better place to live and visit," said Peter Barton Price, Chair of Wales In Bloom.

"It’s Your Neighbourhood entries are proving to be a great stepping stone to the main campaign. This year they have really taken off. There were 129 entries, most of them for the first time.

"There were over twice as many Outstanding Awards to 43 and The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and Wales in Bloom is proud to present an It’s Your Neighbourhood National Certificate of Distinction to Rhuddlan Allotment Society.

"In all 2024 has been another successful year for Wales in Bloom with even more entries and ever increasing standards. Congratulations to you all and a very big thank you from all of us at Wales in Bloom."
