A MAN from Rhyl has pleaded guilty to threatening to disclose a private/sexual photograph of a woman.
Leighton Critchley, 36, of Kings Avenue, admitted the charge, which relates to an incident in Rhyl in July 2022, at Mold Crown Court this morning (September 13).
He will be sentenced at the same court on October 11, and had his bail extended until then.

Judge Nicola Saffman, presiding over today’s hearing, agreed to an adjournment so that a pre-sentence report can be compiled on Critchley’s behalf.
She said that the “custody threshold has been crossed” in his case.
“You need to work with probation, and you need to have a good attitude towards what’s happened,” Judge Saffman told Critchley.
“Then, it (custodial sentence) will be in the realms of being suspended, but I’m not making any promises now.”
Judge Saffman did not reserve Critchley’s case to herself.
