A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged following an incident in Kinmel Bay at the weekend.
Police attended an incident relating to "threatening behaviour" in the Green Lane area, close to Blue Bridge, shortly after 1pm on Saturday, 7 September.
They said a "number" of arrests were made, with a 14-year-old boy later charged with four offences - including possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared in court earlier today (September 9).
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We received a call at 1.13pm on Saturday to reports of threatening behaviour in the Green Lane area of Kinmel Bay.
"Officers responded and a number of arrests were made.
"A 14 year old boy was subsequently charged with possession of an offensive weapon, threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place, and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear.
"He appeared in court earlier today."
