PLANS to host a Christmas Market in Rhyl Events Arena have been put on hold - but organisers are working on a mystery event for next summer.
Kevin Gurney, the Widnes-based owner of Twilight Touring Events company, held meetings with Rhyl Town councillors and Denbighshire Leisure last week where it became apparent more time was needed to ensure that all the relevant planning and licenses were in place for the proposed week-long event.
But his Reviving Rhyl project continues to build momentum and is already working on a summer event for 2025 - although no further details are being made public just yet.

"Until all the paperwork is signed we will not be giving out any details other than to say it will be a fun day for the people of Rhyl both locals and tourists," he wrote in the Reviving Rhyl Facebook group.
As well as a summer event, Reviving Rhyl also intends to revisit the Christmas market plan for 2025.
