RHYL Miniature Railway hosted a hugely successful bank holiday weekend-long family event at the town’s Marine Lake last weekend.
This free event was held at Marine Lake, where the miniature railway is based, on August 24, 25 and 26, and featured funfair rides, charity stalls, food and a paper plane competition.

Justin Bell, trustee at Rhyl Miniature Railway, hailed a brilliant weekend at Marine Lake.
He said: “It was the busiest we have seen the lake in a long time, with it very busy on Bank Holiday Monday.
“Our two trains were running full for almost all of the day, with them only having a short time in the station to change passenger and get ready to go again.
“Chairman of the trust, Les Hughes, said he was very proud of our volunteers and staff pulling together to put on such a great event to bring so many people to Rhyl, even with all the other events on over the bank holiday weekend.”
