Denbighshire County Council has ordered the closure of the track from the A525 to Bryn Polyn Bach St Asaph.
The closure will be effective from Monday, September 9, 2024.
The road will be shut eastwards from its junction with A525 for a distance of approximately 160 metres.
This closure is to allow Dave Cottle Civil Engineering Limited to carry out necessary drainage and resurfacing works.
Pedestrian access will not be available during this period.
The diversion route will be via Upper Denbigh Road and Rhodfa Ty Tyn instead.
The works are estimated to be completed by September 27, 2024.
However, the road could be shut for an 18-month period if the work takes longer than expected.
