Knowles Avenue in Prestatyn is set to be shut next month for gas works by Wales & West Utilities.
The length of Knowles Avenue which extends from its junction with Fforddisa in a south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 55 metres will be shut.
Denbighshire County Council has initiated a temporary traffic order for the works.
Starting on Monday, September 2, the closure is said to last till about September 20.

However, it could be closed for an 18-month period if the works take longer than expected.
This application was revealed on the Public Notice Portal.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during this period.
However, an alternate route for vehicles will be signposted via Gordon Avenue, Knowles Avenue and Fforddisa.
