AN INDIAN restaurant in Prestatyn has been shortlisted for a regional award at the Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards (ARTA) 2024.

Suhail Tandoori Indian Restaurant, at 12 Bastion Road, has been nominated for the ‘Regional Restaurant of the Year - North Wales’ category at the annual awards.

Nominees were chosen based on nominations by customers from across the UK, including over 900,000 customers of ARTA’s strategic partner ChefOnline, Social Media and Food Hygiene Ratings, followed by a final judgement of an esteemed judging panel to crown each region’s Asian excellence.

The awards ceremony, on October 6, will be hosted by BBC journalist and broadcaster Samantha Simmonds and magician Paul Martin.

Last year, Suhail Tandoori won the ‘Curry Restaurant of the Year’ category at the Welsh Restaurant Awards.

Suhail Tandoori is extremely popular, with a 4.5 rating on TripAdvisor after 757 reviews – the most recent review from earlier this month said it was “one of the best meals I have had”.
