Brian Shaw shared his special tradition when he was younger: "From the age of 1 to 12 my grandparents/parents took us from Brum to Golden Sands Rhyl, my nan and gran went for years before the war, there was always some member of our family around Rhyl every year so it was no surprise to anyone that I moved here in 93!".
Mike Simpkins agreed with Rhos-on-Sea, focusing on the open-air swimming pool.
Others preferred different destinations across Wales with Rosemarie Tonkinson opting for "Talacre," and Jean Hartley selecting "Harlech".
Carol Becker reminisced about Abersoch, though she noted it's "Not the same now at all," while Maxine Jones opted for "Barmouth".

"I went every year in August, the happiest days of my life, but Wales in all is a lovely place."
