Denbighshire County Council is set to temporarily close a section of the A525 to Bryn Polyn Bach in St Asaph for significant roadworks.

The Council, according to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1), intends to prevent vehicle use on the specified track, effective no sooner than seven days from August 21, 2024.

This application was revealed on the Public Notice Portal.

The closure, commencing from September 9 for an 18-month period or the earlier completion of work, is necessary to facilitate drainage and resurfacing works undertaken by Dave Cottle Civil Engineering Limited.

However, the works are expected to last until around September 27.

The stretch extends eastwards from its junction with A525 for around 160 metres.

Pedestrian access won't be maintained, with an alternative route suggested via Upper Denbigh Road, Rhodfa Ty Tyn.
