THERE was great excitement in the village when pop sensation Tiffany called at the local pub for a cider!
She called in at The Red in Dyserth, owned by Mike and Jules Peters.
Jules explained that Tiffany's husband is a big fan of Mike's band The Alarm.
Jules said: "A few years ago we performed at a festival in Los Angeles and Tiffany was on the bill.
"Her boyfriend is a big Alarm fan so he knew all about me buying The Red and decided to make a pilgrimage this week with Tiffany to North Wales to visit on the way to perform at Rewind Festival tomorrow all the way from Nashville.
"Once word got out that Tiffany was in the building, the locals were frenzied with excitement!"

Mike, who was on DJ duties, had just returned home from the Christie Hospital in Manchester after a day of blood tests and scans as part of his treatment for lymphoma.
He immediately added Tiffany’s Number 1 “I Think We’re Alone Now” to the Red play list.
Tiffany joined Mike on stage and sang along to her worldwide hit alongside a packed crowd at The Red!
Anita Westwood commented “Fabulous night as always meeting Tiffany was amazing, so lucky to have wonderful people in The Red, Mike on the Decs always great tunes , the place to be”
Mike Evans added: "Well that was a random and great night. Not only a superstar DJ, but an unexpected guest, Tiffany.
"So many top people in tonight!"
Tiffany fell in love with The Red and the village of Dyserth so much so that Jules and Tiffany discussed Tiffany returning to perform a special one off concert.
Tiffany follows in the footsteps of other music celebrities, Billy Duffy from The Cult and Bruce Watson from Big Country.
It just goes to show you never know who will turn up at The Red.
Today Tiffany moves on to perform at Rewind Festival and Mike continues to perform during his heavy chemotherapy regime at Rebellion Festival.
Jules added: "Music is the best therapy of all."
