A COUPLE of bulldogs have been taken in by an animal rescue service after they were found “dumped” in Prestatyn.
The two dogs, pictured above, were initially found loose on Nant Hall Road on Monday (July 15).
They were taken to North Clwyd Animal Rescue, an animal welfare charity based in Holywell, with the hope of re-homing both dogs in the near future.

North Clwyd Animal Rescue said: “It has been confirmed that they were dumped on July 15.
“They have now been signed over to us and will be going up for adoption over the next few days.
“They are lovely, easy-going girls, and we are determined to find them the most loving home possible.
“These two girls were found loose on Nant Hall Road in Prestatyn. They are microchipped but the phone numbers are not working.
“If these are your dogs, please call us on 01745 560546 so we can get them reunited with you.”
Adam Hobbs, dog behaviourist from K999 who works alongside North Clwyd Animal Rescue, said he has spent some time with the dogs in the last few days.
He added: “I'm pretty sure they came in as stray, but the staff managed to track somebody down, who confirmed they were just dumped.
“So, we will be looking to rehome them once the seven-day ‘stray reclaim’ period is up and we have assessed them - unless anything has changed, that is!”
