Cadw is celebrating 40 years this summer, and to mark the historic occasion they are hosting a number of events around Wales.
Combining history, heritage and entertainment, Cadw is pulling out all the stops with 40 unique events all across the country.
As the organisation tasked with preserving the historical heritage of Wales, Cadw ensures that residents and visitors alike can immerse themselves in the rich history of the nation.
This responsibility comes to the fore this summer as they organise a string of events to highlight their 40-year journey.
Their expansive summer schedule has something to offer everyone, from history buffs to families looking for fun-filled activities.
Over the years, Cadw has safeguarded more than 130 historical sites.
Their events not only offer an entertaining glimpse into the past but also underline their commitment to cultural preservation.
In terms of access, families are in for a treat as children can visit all Cadw sites for free when accompanied by an adult with membership.
Not only do memberships provide free entry to the events, but it also grants unlimited access to all Cadw sites throughout the year.
