COLLEAGUES at Spire Healthcare Abergele Clinic have raised more than £490 after undertaking a gruelling climb up Yr Wyddfa, and covered in excess of 300km in a range of summer activities in aid of Tŷ Gobaith/Hope House and Maggie’s Cancer care.

Hope House Children’s Hospices ensures no-one faces the death of their child alone and provides specialist nursing care to more than 750 children and their families who in Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.

Maggie’s Cancer Care, Spire Healthcare’s focus charity, is supporting people to live well with cancer.

At Spire Abergele Clinic, colleagues undertook a range of fundraising activities, include the gruelling colleague hike up Yr Wyddfa, a bake sale, and a raffle.

Clare Jamieson, general manager at Spire Healthcare Abergele Clinic, said: “I am tremendously proud of all the hard work the team at Spire Abergele Clinic.

“Their fundraising efforts have resulted in a fantastic donation for these two amazing charities.
