THE ALARM'S Mike Peters and wife Jules mixed it with some famous faces at the weekend.
The couple were joined by celebrity chef Bryn Williams, his wife, Texas lead singer Sharleen Spiteri, and Manic Street Preachers' James Dean Bradfield.
The stars were all in attendance at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod.
Just last week, the Peters family issued an update on Mike's condition, with the Rhyl showman recently undergoing his third round of chemotherapy.
In September 2022, the beloved singer announced that his chronic lymphocytic leukaemia had relapsed.
In an update to fans via social media, Jules said: "So far Michael is tolerating the chemo well.
"Both Mike and I (as you know) have experienced six rounds of chemotherapy each in the past, and always worked and walked our way through the experience.
"So right here right now doesn’t phase us too much… the needles, the drugs, the corridors, the scans, the check ups… it’s all pretty normal for us.
"As Mike’s lymphoma is aggressive (Richters), the concern is that it could bounce back quickly so it’s likely that our next step will be a stem cell transplant.
"There is also the option of the revolutionising CAR T therapy and of course the trial drug that Mike is taking (Alcabrutinib).
"So in our case our future really is unwritten.
"On one hand it’s been terrifying receiving this diagnosis of ‘poor prognosis’ so out of the blue (as in the fact that Mike was so remarkably healthy 10 weeks ago), but on the other hand it’s incredibly exciting to learn about all the optimistic options.
"So for now we are concentrating on just that. It’s the only thing we can do; live a great life today and not worry too much tomorrow.
"So thanks for all the love. We are soaking it all up and transforming it into positive vibes. Thanks to the NHS for giving us a chance and thanks to The Christie for showering us with their excellence. Thanks to Nurse Delyth for accompanying us every step of the way."
